I think its only polite to begin with an introduction...My name is Lucy and I am a student of Childcare and Education studying in England. I am also a St Johns Professional First Aider and Brigade Member, A Volunteer with The British Red Cross and A member of the SHELTER Charity. I also run a group on facebook 'World Citizen' as well as my college course group and I am an active contributor to my colleges student panel with the hope of become Student Representative in the near future. In regards to work, I am currently a student Teaching Assistant in Lincoln and previous to that I was assistant manager at a British Red Cross Shop in My hometown. In my spare time I love to write, anything and everything as well as read whatever I can get my hands on! I am a fan of film and television but have a strong preference for films based upon real life stories and never watch soap operas or any television that doesnt promote healthy lifestyles. I love documentaries. I am a vegetarian and have been for the past 8 years and over that time, I have developed a great love of cookery and seeking out new and interesting recipies. More than anything though, I suppose I love the company of good people. I am fortunant to be in a wonderful relationship and have a vast network of interesting individuals whom i am blessed enough to call my friends. My future career? I would love to either go full circle and end up teaching the course I am currently on OR work in the field of homeschooling, either as a consultant or for a homeschooling support group. At some point I would also love to travel abroad and assist in the re-establishment of early years care facilities in war-torn countries. I look forward to getting to know you all. Regards L Pegler.
