Human Union Appeal and Declaration
The primary policy goal of the Human Union Movement is to encourage countries to make a Human Union Declaration. If any one country anywhere issues a Human Union Declaration then we can say we have started the process of building a Human Union. We also encourage individuals and organizations to make statements of support for the building of a Human Union. We call such a statement a human union appeal. Human Union Appeal
Sign it and join the Human Union Movement We appeal to all people to support the cause of building a Human Union to replace the current conflict of national, ethnic, religious, cultural and other corporate identities. Putting our common human identity first does not mean abandoning these collective identities. It simply means not allowing those identities to overwhelm and destroy our basic respect for our fellow human beings. Allowing this denies our common human identity. We ask you to read the Human Union Appeal, think about it, and if you agree, fill and submit the form included. By signing the Human Union Appeal for individuals you are saying that you will not allow pressure from your nation, ethnic, religion, culture and other collective corporate groups to blind you to the respect owed to your fellow human beings. You are putting your humanity and world citizenship first. You are also stating your support for the building of a political system which respects our common humanity and respects the human legitimacy principle. Once you have electronically signed the Human Union Appeal we will add your name to the list of signatories of the Human Union Appeal published on this website. By signing the form you consent to have your support made public. Also once you have signed the Human Union Appeal we will contact you with more information about how we hope to work together to build Human Union and add you to the mailing list for our newsletter.
Human Union Declaration
See a draft Human Union Declaration We cannot be sure as to how a Human Union will start. Most likely it will start slowly and gradually evolve as it adds on new members and agreed standards. It can begin from as few as one Country (or the EU) issuing a Human Union Declaration. This is a declaration that the country making the declaration is willing to start negotiating minimal common terms with any other country that wishes to join it in a Human Union. The fundamental goal of the Human Union Movement is to urge countries to make a Human Union Declaration. If any one country anywhere makes a Human Union Declaration then we can say that we have started progress to building a Human Union. We provide a sample Human Union Declaration that governments could make. Of course people contemplating supporting their country making a Human Union Declaration may wish to amend the draft below. It is just an example to get the idea moving.
